Health Literacy, Digital Health Literacy, and COVID-19 Pandemic Attitudes and Behaviors in U.S. College Students

Implications for Interventions

This study addresses whether COVID-19-related information access, attitudes, and behaviors were associated with health and digital health literacy among college students. Only approximately 50% of respondents reported adequate health literacy. The authors go into additional details about factors related to health and digital health literacy (such as presentative health practices and vaccine willingness) and discuss potential implications for future interventions focused on health literacy in college students.
