Kirk Waldroff is our misinformation resource theme advisor for the month of October. He currently serves as community outreach manager at the American Psychological Association (APA). In this capacity, he seeks out and fosters strategic communications partnerships to amplify the field of psychology and ensure psychological research is communicated to diverse audiences.

Kirk spent a large portion of his tenure with APA communicating research opportunities to psychology researchers and working directly with them to promote and disseminate their research within the scientific community. With that background, in his current role, he continues to advance psychological research, most recently focusing on, among other topics, mis- and disinformation, AI, and telehealth.

Prior to his work at APA, Kirk was creative director for an interactive advertising agency and has extensive training and experience in graphic design, illustration, and fine art.
